About

I am one half of what was formally Local-E Delivered. We were two mothers who used electric cargo bikes to transport children, shopping, school bags, and everything but the kitchen sink!

Amazed by how much we could carry on our bikes, and how quickly we could travel around Gorey town without getting stuck in traffic, we came up an idea: to start a local delivery service using electric cargo bikes.

I am now taking my interest in circular economy to a new level with Thrift Cycle.

With a background as a charity shop manager, I've always recognised the value in extending the life cycle of pre-loved items. Reducing waste and promoting sustainability are the values of Thrift Cycle.

Beyond Thrift Cycle, I'm actively involved in fostering a greener community. As a member of the Gorey Pedestrian and Cycling Association, Wexbug, and the Wexford Environmental Network, I'm committed to making steps towards a more eco-conscious society.

Join me on this journey towards a more sustainable future, one thrifted treasure at a time!
