1. What is Thrift Cycle?

Thrift Cycle is an online platform that promotes sustainability through the resale of pre-loved items. I focus on extending the lifecycle of products by offering a wide range of second-hand goods, including clothing, accessories, books, and household items, at affordable prices.

I also offer a local errand/delivery service: from picking up prescriptions and groceries to posting a letter - using my service makes errands easy and eco-friendly - Starting at €4, message me for a quote!

2. Why is there so many free items?

I want to encourage a kind of "SWAP" service for items that are lower in value but still might be appreciated by other people. This benefits the community and promotes a circular economy.

3. How can I donate items to Thrift Cycle?

Donating is simple and convenient. You can arrange for me to collect your items from your location in Gorey at a time that suits you. I ensure that donated items are either passed on, sold, or responsibly recycled if they are no longer suitable for reuse.

4. What happens to items that don't sell?

Items that are no longer suitable for Swapping or Selling will be responsibly recycled or disposed of. My goal is to minimise waste and keep items in circulation for as long as possible.

5. What are the delivery options?

  • Delivery in Gorey Town: I offer delivery using my e-bike, which is included for all orders over €3. For orders under €3, a small €3 admin charge will apply which includes delivery. I will text to arrange a time that suits you for delivery.
  • Delivery Outside of Gorey (Republic of Ireland Only):
    • For orders under €3, the postage fee is €9.
    • For orders over €3, the postage fee is reduced to €6

(conditions of posting - maximum weight 10kg & maximum dimensions of parcel: Length 1.5 metres, Length Plus Girth 3 metres)

Some larger items will not be available for posting.

7. What payment methods do you accept?

This website accepts a variety of payment methods including Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay. For local deliveries there is an option to pay with Cash On Delivery. Or you can also let me know what you would like to purchase and you can pay through Revolut. 

8. Can I request additional information before purchasing?

Absolutely! I encourage you to reach out if you have any questions or need additional photos or measurements before making a purchase. I'm happy to provide any details you need to ensure you're satisfied with your order.
